Excellent Accommodations in Perfect Location
This Hotel is a model for how things should be done in the hospitality business. Every detail has been thought of and the staff are all so accommodating, friendly and helpful. On top of that, the location is perfect. Walking distance to so great restaurants and the train station. I would HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Don't judge a book by its cover
Stayed here two nights on a childfree break. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk outside of the city centre in a lovely area with restaurants, bars and coffee shops. The hotel is on a quiet side street and looks unassuming at first glance. Service however, outstanding. We were able to drop our bags after an early flight in and go off for the day. When we came back to check in the bags were in our room. The room was lovely, big, comfortable bed, great facilities. The bathroom was big, a wet room and on personal preference the shower wasn’t powerful enough for our liking. The room was spotless though.
We had a slight issue with breakfast our first night, which was resolved when we queried this. Breakfast was outstanding, the continental selection was the best we’ve had in a hotel. We’d come back for that and the sausages.
Check out isn’t till 12pm which was amazing. It was a luxury to be able to enjoy our final morning leisurely, take a walk locally, and be able to freshen up before heading back to the airport. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again next time we come back.

Service above and beyond expectations
Brilliant service at check in and throughout our stay. The staff are all incredibly helpful and really bend over backwards to make sure you are doing ok. The breakfast is fantastic - especially the "Irish Warmer" porridge. It is in a good location, easy to walk to wherever you want. Brilliant!

Perfect place to stay in Belfast
I felt like a guest rather than a customer, which is unfortunately the main approach in many places nowadays. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warm welcome and the attention to detail throughout my stay. The comfortable room, delicious meals, and attentive staff truly made my visit enjoyable and memorable.Thank you so much!

5 star stay
Lovely guesthouse jn convenient location. Staff go out their way to make you feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious- one of the best I have had. The facilities in the room are on par with 5 star hotels. The 5 star reviews are well deserved.

Perfect stay
Excellent stay. Everything they do, they do perfectly. Not big or fancy, just perfect. Could not ask for anything more. All staff were helpful, but Ricky in the breakfast room is superb. Great location near Queen’s University and Botanic Gardens and train station. Highly recommend this little hotel.

Great small hotel close to city centre and Queens University
An excellent hotel in a very quiet location close to the city centre. All of the staff are very good, helpful, and cheery, making it a very relaxed stay. The rooms are well equipped with all essentials that you would require for a city stay.
A comprehensive breakfast menu is available in the comfortable dining room.

Excellent stay, would definitely return
Looks unassuming from outside but excellent experience. Staff were all so genuinely friendly, didn't feel like they were just going through the motions. Room very comfortable and well equipped and breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts ever, very nicely presented and tasty.

Tara Lodge the hidden gem.
The Tara lodge is a fantastic place to stay.
From our arrival to our departure, we experienced excellent service from all at Reception and all the breakfast room staff.
Nothing was too much trouble,
The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed with extras such a mini fridge, a professional 3800 W hairdryer and GHD straighteners.
There’s abundant hot water ,the beds are extremely comfortable.
The breakfast which was cooked to order was such a treat beyond breakfasts we’ve had in five star hotels.
The tipple of whiskey in the porridge was delicious as were the Clonakilty yoghurts.
The hotel is close to all major attractions and yet quiet as it’s on a side street.
You can easily walk to the city centre or go on a frequent bus service.
The staff in the Tara Lodge work together as a professional team.
I’m already planning my next visit.
